History

Established in 1967, The Silvertip Lodge was built for the comfort of avid fishermen and hunters.  Located at the east end of the 100km-long Quesnel Lake, B.C., Canada, the location boasts trophy trout fishing in the waters off-shore and in the nearby rivers.

In 2002, Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH) purchased the 14-acre lakeshore property and conducted extensive renovations that would winterize the building and raise the level of luxury designed to appeal to the high-end heli-skier.  Beginning in 2002, this spacious 7,250 sq. ft. triple A-frame lodge hosted many skiers from all over the world.   In 2009, CMH sold the property to an individual who had planned to turn it into a unique, member-only heli-ski operation.  He eventually sold Silvertip Lodge in 2015 to the current group of owners who are committed to creating one of the best heli-skiing experiences in Canada.

Silvertip Lodge is a welcome sight after taking the journey by boat, plane or helicopter.  The building radiates an authentic feeling that cannot be created by modern structures.   Now that Silvertip Lodge has been redesigned, complete with all the modern amenities any outdoor enthusiast could want, let it serve as your home-away-from-home for your next mountain adventure – be it winter or summer!
