Dale McKnight, Operations Manager

Meet Dale, our Operations Manager at Silvertip! 

According to Dale heli-skiing is not a holiday, so best not skip leg day before your tour! 

When he’s not maximizing skier vertical in the winter, you can find Dale operating heavy equipment as the owner and manager of Spider Excavators. 

Andrew Adamson, Ski Guide

Hometown: Jasper, Alberta

Meet Andy, one of our Ski Guides here at Silvertip. Andy’s passion for skiing began when he was just 3 years old when his parents put him on skis for the first time. With 19 years of ski industry experience, 4 being with us here at Silvertip, Andy’s role here is to ensure you have the best experience on the mountain while keeping safety as the number one priority. In the off season you can find Andy mountain biking, rafting, kayaking or climbing trees as Andy also runs an arborist company in the off season.

Sherrilee Franks, Lodge Manager

Hometown: Falkland, BC

Meet Sherrilee, with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality Sherrilee is our everything girl. From behind the scenes logistics to ensuring everything runs smoothly from the time you arrive to the time you leave. In Sherrilee’s off time she runs a property management company as well as is the General Manager of Historic O’Keefe Ranch. Sherrilee is a busy lady, but come to the lodge and she will be sure greet you with a warm welcoming smile.

Carrie Sundahl, Booking Manager

Hometown: Williams Lake, British Columbia

Meet Carrie, our Booking Manager. Carrie is that friendly voice on the other end of the phone or email, ready to help plan your adventure. She has over 9 years experience in the airline industry, and many years in project management and community development. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and is always delighted to welcome you to the Williams Lake airport upon your arrival. 

In her spare time she enjoys interior design, gardening and playing with her two dogs and two rescue cats. 

Colin Davidson, Executive Chef

Hometown:

Owen Sound, Ontario

Meet Colin, our Executive Chef here at Silvertip. Colin joined our team 5 years ago and keeps returning year after year or as he likes to say “I live in the bushes at Silvertip and just keep showing up, year after year when the season starts”. With over 20 years of industry experience Colin will be sure to provide you with the true “Heli Belly” experience.

In the off season you can find Colin boating around the Southern Gulf Islands.

Meighan Klippenstein, Massage Therapist

Hometown: Where ever she is at the moment

Meet Meighan, our Massage Therapist. Meighan joined the lodge in 2019. You will find her awaiting you each morning to start your day with stretch class and each evening to end your day with a healing massage.

Meighan loves to ski, sail, and explore. You never know what her next adventure is and where it will take her. We are thankful, however, that she finds her way back to the lodge every winter.

Felix
Felix Allard, Maintenance Manager

Hometown: Amos, Quebec 

Meet Felix, our Maintenance guy. Felix ensures all the systems at our lodge are running smoothly from the generator to the hydronics to building maintenance, Felix does it all!

In the off season you can find Felix on the mountain bike trails, travelling or doing carpentry. A fun fact about Felix is he enjoys a shot of maple syrup every morning!

Karri Kammers, The Kitchen Everything

Hometown:

Meet Karri, the one who truly keeps the kitchen in check. From making your lunch for the day to waking up the breakfast and pastry chef to covering for the Executive Chef – Karri makes sure there is no food left unturned. 

As a local Horsefly resident, Karri enjoys exploring the local mountains and lakes. She has many camping and fishing ventures stories to share. 

Karolina Vyroubalova, Massage Therapist

Hometown: Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem, Czech Republic

Meet Karolina, our Massage Therapist. Karolina joined Silver Tip Lodge in 2021. She is an integral part of the team and can be seen filling in for many positions around the lodge to ensure the lodge is well running machine. 

In her spare time, Karolina enjoying traveling, hiking and spending time in nature both on and off her yoga mat. One of her favorite pass times is stealing her friends dog for walks and cuddles!

Tessa, Everything

Hometown: 

Meet Tessa. Tessa has been a part of the team since day one. With her many talents, she has been everything from Pastry Chef to Maintenance and now is the Financial Controller – but this doesn’t stop us from flying her to lodge for ANY position when we need her!
