Arrival Day at Silvertip Lodge
Guests fly from Vancouver BC, Canada, Air Elite terminal building to the Williams Lake Airport (YWL) in the morning of their departure date. From Williams Lake Airport, a helicopter transports clients for a 45-minute flight to Silvertip Lodge. The Silvertip staff will be waiting for your arrival in Williams Lake to handle any final details of your trip, ensuring that you start your heli-skiing holiday as soon as you arrive at the lodge! From Vancouver International Airport (YVR) the estimated total travel time is approximately 2.5 hours to Silvertip Lodge.
Once at the Lodge, you will be served a delicious lunch, and then the ski guides will provide guests with a thorough safety orientation. In the afternoon you can settle in, enjoy our spa facilities and be able to relax to shake off the jet lag.
Silvertip Lodge Ski Days
Guests awake to the delicious smells of a steaming hot breakfast beginning at 8:00 am. At 9:00 am, the helicopter begins to take you up for a breathtaking morning of heli-skiing or snowboarding.
At Silvertip Lodge, guests have access to unlimited vertical and Silvertip guarantees a minimum of 30,000ft/9,200m for a 3 day trip, up to 80,000ft/24,500m for a 7 day trip.
Guests return to Silvertip Lodge an hour before sunset to enjoy delicious après-ski snacks and drinks, perhaps followed by a dip in the hot tub, a sauna or a relaxing massage. A gourmet dinner is prepared by the Silvertip Chefs and served at 7:00 pm.
Final Ski Day
On the final day of your Silvertip tour, breakfast will be served at 7:00 am. Guests will enjoy their last morning heli-skiing/snowboarding our tenure, and then prepare to catch the helicopter to the Williams Lake airport. From Williams Lake they will catch the charter flight to Vancouver, and on to your respective commercial flights.
